Re: Stevie Wonder
I knew about the new albums, and I knew he played Songs in the Key of Life in it's entirety in LA in December, but I didn't know he was planning on playing it in it's entirety more in 2014. That's fucking awesome.

I played Sarah Songs in the Key Of Life, Innervisions and Stand! by Sly today. She liked the lot.

Re: Stevie Wonder
Lament, are there any unreleased Stevie Wonder songs from the 70's out there? Any good bootlegs?

Re: Stevie Wonder
He's actually got a really extensive amount of unreleased stuff, though from everything I've ever read they've never been pried from the hands of private collectors, so none of them circulate. There was apparently an album he made in between Fulfillingness' First Finale and Songs in the Key of Life that was never released, as well as one he made right after Hotter Than July. He also wrote an entire album for Michael Jackson in the early 70s that was scrapped too.
There are a few good lives ones going around if that's your thing (it's not really mine, but I have a few).

Overjoyed was written to be on Secret Life of Plants. I wonder what the actually cut from those sessions sounds like, stripped of all the mid-80's production...

It's a gorgeous song, even with all the sentimental shlock over the top. It's a good example of a song that is a good song regardless.

Re: Stevie Wonder
Sometimes I put on "Please Don't Go" from Fulfillingness' First Finale and just scroll through this thread and reminisce about the good times we had with harmless in here...
