the ear is a lot easier to please. the ear goes for quick hits like getaway and thinks its awesome and parties all night and then wakes up the next day and realizes it has VD

the anus is much more particular. an outkast its whole life, uninterested in acceptance by the outside world, the anus hears all, but remains unheard (usually), lurking, plotting, quietly. Contemplative, reflective, the anus is only impressed by those things of true substance. those things that would be worthy of anal consideration. things that make you go: "well fuck me in my ass, that was impressive"

post-script: at one point while drafting this message, my computer froze; and I was frustrated, not only with the fact that the above could be funnier, but that it might be lost; and even more, that the reality had set in, that I was now upset because I might have lost a drafted response to an internet question asking me to differentiate between the musical tastes of my ear and anus, to a stranger on the internet, for whom i have great respect, and would send any amount of western union cash wire transfers should they suddenly be requested for some unusual yet increasingly recurring reason...

My anus is certainly doesn't remain unheard, it's a noisy fucker. Plus, it has the shits nearly every day. I don't blame it though, it lives next door to a couple of nuts and a total dick.
