depends on the mood i'm in. Sometimes over-easy, other times scrambled and then sometimes poached if having eggs benedict. Other times, I like a good ole' hard boiled egg with some salt sprinkled on it.

Last weekend, I had an egg sunny side up atop some pulled pork, served on a fresh doughnut. The doughnut was perfect. It wasn't glazed or anything, just soft and fluffy. I was afraid the dish might be a little too gimmicky, but it hit every spot that I was craving while hungover in Austin.

For most of my life, I've hated eggs unless they were scrambled. I really like scrambled eggs, always have. But in the last few months I've decided I really like poached eggs, and sometimes fried eggs. I don't really know what 'sunny side up' or 'over-easy' mean, but I do like a runny yoke, as long as the white is properly cooked, maybe even browned around the edges. What I can't stand (and what put me off eggs for so long) is hard-boiled eggs, because they smell. Especially egg mayonnaise sandwiches, which just wreak, and people who eat that shit must have no sense of smell. If someone on my table is eating an egg mayonnaise sandwich, I have to sit somewhere else.
