You misunderstood me. Many front men in rock have odd reputations and stories that go with them - not necessarily true stories. Divorces are often a source of this stories. I wouldn't have thought of that if Beth wasn't mentioned in the story about the Bad Radio tape.
I was wondering how come someone with a reputation of being difficult or worst doesn't really have that much anecdotes to back that up floating around.

Maybe he took the Springsteen approach and gave his ex an absurd amount of money and made her sign a contract to never publicly speak of what happened.

i think the "eddie vedder odd story" is probably the chick trying to drive her car into his house. or the numerous times he's almost drowned.

It was on a video of Just Breathe I think, one that had a slideshow of him and his family on it. I remember someone posting it on here, but maybe I'm wrong. The story was one of the most bizarre fucking things, something like it was the kid of one of the 10C employees and Ed was raising it and pretending it was his. Fucking batshit stuff.

This seems to be the source of it. I'm assuming it was a joke, but it's a pretty fucking odd one. Then again, someone from RM is probably behind it.

Im halfway convinced thats an actual crazy stalker, ive seen that pop up in the comments of different youtube videos and various pearl jam related articles and what have you, usually sounding pretty angry/nutty in tone. Seems like alot of effort for a joke idk.

The effort to make show unique, from the merch to the setlist, is the best thing they have done.
