Is this show getting worse or does it just appear that way because I'm watching it after True Detective?

I actually forget that it's on now. Thanks True Detective.

It's terrible. But I'm fine with that, I needed a "show that I watch even though it's fucking stupid" to replace Dexter.

I think the show is fine, it's not perfect, but it's about zombies, what else should we expect?

Carol looks even sexier than before. How will Daryl control himself?

I wasn't impressed with how Carol came back into it. Also dubious of that new guy that showed up at the end. Is he going to be the new governor - I hope not.

It's a show about people. Boring, one dimensional people.

The show doesn't seem to know what it wants to do - it seems like it wants to a character driven drama, but it's been on for ages and they really haven't done any significant character development at all.

It also annoys me how they don't build things up properly. The episode where the inmate with the mustache died comes to mind - he was around for quite a few episodes and they did nothing with him. Then they decide to kill him and he gets a few scenes and we're supposed to care that he gets killed all of a sudden.

The show just feels so directionless - like they have no idea what they are doing from week to week or why.

The show has had three different showrunners. The lack of a plan is pretty evident.

I think with gimple running the show, he needs time to take it in a new direction. The three showrunners hasn't helped. Usually a show with that many is off the air by now. But some plots have kept me interested. The more closer they get with the comic, the more I like it. I think y'all will like Abraham Ford.

The title's been removed from IMDB. I wonder if they are revising the finale.
Spoiler: show
Morgan comes back that episode though.
and
Spoiler: show
Supposedly a hybrid character will be introduced (possibly before the finale). I'm guessing Gabrielle / Aaron.

I disagree. I really enjoyed last night's episode.

I still enjoy the show. Much more than most in this thread but last night felt really pointless.

Carl sucks. What a horrible actor for such an important role. I wonder if the writers cringe like I do when he speaks.

I thought the tension with Rick was really well done, and Carl and Michonne's bits helped with a little character development. While it may not have moved the plot forward in leaps and bounds, I enjoyed the hour. Last week's was pretty awesome, too - it's been a while since I've sat practically rigid in my chair like I did last week (particularly with the little psycho nearly smothering Judith).
