Also I watched Saving Mr. Banks a few nights ago. It was nice.

Maybe you can enjoy the music more this time.theplatypus wrote:Invited to the Argentine premiere of Llewyn Davis. I already watched it in Colombia and was kind of underwhelmed, but I think it's worth a second watch. Especially if it's for free.

The songs are nice, I just wish they were performed by other people. That barbershop quartet version of "The Auld Triangle" was awful.

I showed my little siblings Ponyo a few weeks ago and they were put off by the animation at first (these kids are used to CGI movies or Saturday-morning Nickelodeon animation as the norm) but they fell in love with itturned2black wrote:Watched My Neighbor Totoro again last night. Such a simple and beautiful movie.

My day off. I'm going to eat a Jack's pizza & watch one of Kobe Bryant's favorite movies:

I hope it's the best movie ever made.

I remember first seeing that movie when I was like 13. I had no idea what the hell was going on, but it was amazing.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Not related but Richard Dreyfus just did an interview on Irish tv. And he was fuckin awesome.
Spoke with such heart and passion. And not once about the wearing of the green as it were.
Fair play for a guy his age he owned it.

Fine actor. Aged quickly. Not a lot of actors can emit that kind of energy. And thanks to my favorite bio/documentary, I'll always associate Theodore Roosevelt's voice with his.

I got that but I understood it. He was really passionate and well spoken and totally self effacing but gracious when relentlessly hit with th whole jaws thing and his Oscar win at such an early age.durdencommatyler wrote:Richard Dreyfus is a weird, weird dude.
New found respect for him.
(Earlier today he met the granddaughter of Robert shaw, his Irish co star in jaws(quint?)she had never met her grandad and he was able to tell her all these stories about him and all the magic he brought to jaws and all the other work he'd done.
It was a cool interview.
