It'll be an instant classic due to the venue alone, despite the band being shitfaced and playing incredibly out of sync with each other.

Sounds silly bit with this current set up with the fancy lights n all, I'd go just to see that.

While I would love for the Red Rocks rumor to be true, according to the Red Rocks website Flux Pavilion is playing on Friday September 12, http://www.redrocksonline.com/CalendarE ... ?id=281194

It looks like the screen is being manipulated (Word-photoshopped) as the pic was taken. And the P in Pearl Jam isn't inline with the words beneath it. Very amateurish. Poorly done.

Two weeks after they close out Europe? I've been dying to find some excuse to go back to Japan, but that seems very unlike post-LBC Pearl Jam.

You're going to have to be more specific than that around here, but to be fair unless "in years" extends back to 2006 or so, it doesn't seem as though you really need in-depth exposure to every additional tour to really understand what the prevailing shortcomings of present-day live Pearl Jam are. If you've listened as recently as 2008 or 2009, you can probably reasonably anticipate what you're in for in 2014: botched lyrics, unrehearsed rarities, unconditioned vocals, downtuning. Or has the obligatory and soon-to-be-legendary 2013 mini-tour seen an immediate and unprecedented disappearance of these things?

Are evidence backed facts a form of microaggression?

I wouldn't know how to go about disproving the null hypothesis for that.

That band is pretty fucking tight in 2013. Downtuning doesnt mean they are horrible. Ed is the weak link for sure but the band themselves are super fucking tight.
