listened to madvillany and the new TI, trouble man: heavy is the head in the last few days for the first time. big fan of both. madvillain is really fuckin cool

Outkast were so great. And beastie boys. And Dr. Dre's The Chronic. And Saul Williams is a really underrated rapper.

And you know what? I have a huge soft spot for Eminem.

A Tribe Called Quest........and other select 90's hip hop is pretty good but the genre really is full of garbage these days. I know people say that kind of stuff as they get older, but with hip hop its actually true.

I was really into hip hop in the late 80s early 90s. I like it when you'd have a bunch of guys taking turns over big beats and bass with the creepy hook over the top with the free your mind and your ass will follow lyrics.

Brother Ali show is up there with some of the most memorable shows ive seen and im not even a huge hip hop fan. He is fucking great.

Their crew is called A$AP and he is one of the guys. Just the way it played out. A few of his songs have some good to them.
