Well the build is finished. Though I think I'm gonna turn the feet/landing gear the other way.
Lots of sanding to do tomorrow then painting and light installation.
The exterior is going to be white and the inner loop deck(which runs clear all the way through) is going to be an intense orange.
Gonna paint over with a phosphorescent UV paint I'm getting from New Zealand.

The shape is pretty sweet! Impressive use of wood.

Your hand must be feeling better?

Don't hammer and txt at the same time. Lesson learned.

Crafting things can be dangerous. I've given blood a few times myself.

I had a couple of men's bands cast and engraved this last week. My boyfriend's sister is getting married and I did the groom's ring.

I'm still working out a skull ring. I have some better tools now, and I really just think I needed to try a simpler thing before getting all sassy.

Wax models for casting. The process is called "lost wax."

The waxes come in different strengths and they're color coded. The green wax is the hardest kind.

I'll see what I can do to help.

My man is on his way home today though, so I may not be seen on social media til next week. Is there room for him and me on your futon or sofa bed? :-P

Of course! They're both doubles. Futon is way way bigger though.

Got the first coat on the inside loop. It'll rock once the lights go in.
Not sure about the white exterior now. Might just leave it bare

Let it simmer before you decide whether to paint the exterior white. Either way it looks great!

What a kick in the balls. So I've been wanting to build this table for over a year and didnt know how to build an internal frame given the odd shape. finally had a eureka moment and got ahead of myself and built it.
And never fuckin measured the room it's going into.

D'OH!!!
I mean it fits but it dominates the room and its a bit tight
