I almost replied to myself with "well, duh". I forgot it was in the 1st post when i posted that. I meant that they don't seem to have issues with it any more.B wrote:I don't know how the other mods feel, but I think YouTube is fair game. Pearl Jam can and has removed stuff off of YouTube. Always something, never nothing.Strat wrote:I thought it was ridiculous it became an issue. Those sessions are what music really is. People together, fucking around and having fun playing music. Vedder should be so lucky that fans want to hear that sort of shit. Better than studio polished bullshit :\

Oh, when they find out it's there, they'll get it removed. I think YouTube automatically scans for copyrighted stuff, but something like that, I'm guessing requires a specific complaint.Mine wrote:I almost replied to myself with "well, duh". A friend of mine posted video from an Ed solo show with Ed's permission and it was gone within minutes anyway. My guess is that there is some asshole in an office somewhere whose job it is to scan the internet for this shit all day.

I also understand not wanting to share off the cuff private moments with people when there is a very high probability that they will be endlessly dissected, evaluated, and judged, which of course they would be.guitar_davey wrote:Always something, never nothing.Strat wrote:I thought it was ridiculous it became an issue. As a fan I want it. But I understand why an artist would be reluctant to share it.
