Anyone else prefer the version of New Damage they recorded with Brian May?

Cornell's wail at the beginning of the Brian May version is bone chilling. I prefer the guitar work of the studio version, though. Can't go wrong with either.

it might be some (funny?) dialogue in the studio that they decided to leave in the recording. but it might also be instrumental jams in the vein of Jerry Garcia's Finger / Splice of Spacejam. we can hope

Certainly seems like a legit possibility. Having a hard time believing that a tour of this magnitude would be at Merriweather in MD, though, but I will be fucking STOKED if true cause I love that place. Would kill to see this at Red Rocks, too. To this day I still laugh at Reznor's tweet re the Timbaland album...so true.

Pearl Jam and Soundgarden have overlapping Euro dates in June so I guess we'll find out soon enough.
