Cosmos (Neil deGrasse Tyson)
Watching Sagan's Cosmos for the first time was probably the greatest TV experience of my life. I may have to re-examine my hatred of Seth MacFarlane as it seems he was the driving force behind bringing this back to TV. Starts March 9 on FOX and the National Geographic Channel.

Really exciting I'm surprised Fox is broadcasting this.

Re: Cosmos (Neil deGrasse Tyson)
I must admit that I'm a little skeptical of this being on Fox as well, but I refuse to believe Tyson or Sagan's widow would allow any bullshit influence from Fox.bada wrote:Really exciting I'm surprised Fox is broadcasting this.

Re: Cosmos (Neil deGrasse Tyson)
The scientific facts in the first episode weren't new if you listen to Neil's podcast/watch shows like The Universe or something...but the presentation was excellent. Neil brought the feels when he took out Carl Sagan's date planner!

Oh, also, not mentioned in the episode: Neil ended up going to Harvard, not Cornell

This is something that will be shown in middle schools for years.

Luckily, you don't need to believe in it for it to be true.CopperTom wrote:I don't doubt too many scientific theories, but I don't believe in the big bang theory.
