I enjoy Just Breathe well enough, but this is a pretty blase matchup.

I think the SNL version on the "PJ20" soundtrack is beautiful--it's still doctored up but it benefits from the warmth of the live performance. I like both tunes but "Just Breathe" got my vote.

The verses of JB are okay, even if that aw-huh grates by halfway through the second listen. The efforts to bolster chorus are awful. It's at its best as a tender, honest sentiment. Syruping the shit out of it is a fucking terrible idea, to the point of feeling amateurish.
