I too, am surprised that he signed a 1 year deal, but moreso that the Pats even offered it in the first place. Given their cap situation I figured they'd go for at least 2 years and push out some guaranteed money later. Still, like I said, it made way too much sense for the Pats to snag him.

They've got Knighton, Sly, and Vickerson at DT, as well as a nice backup in Mitch Unrein. I seriously doubt they pursue Wilfork. In fact, unfortunately the Raiders could use him. Then again, they could use almost anyone...
