i tried to add some running into my daily walks last week. it felt great. actually no, my legs were fucking screaming! but i think thats the fucking point. i felt fine during and afterwards.

next day, terrible knee pain. fucking hobbling around all day. :/

I love the feeling when you're legs get all jelly and it feels like they could collapse under you at any moment. It feels like I'm doing some good. I get it when I swim for long enough too.

I didn't try to cut any time, just set it on 6 mph and ran, so i made it right at the 40 minute mark, and i feel pretty good now, usually im ready to pass out, but we have to run out for a bit and im ready to go. Im also gonna grab a chocolate milk while we are out 8-)

Unfortunately i don't have time for it, at least not for an hour or so, and i don't know if it would be effective then

Unfortunately i don't have time for it, at least not for an hour or so, and i don't know if it would be effective then
Doc ice is always effective for swelling and aches. :peace:

After a long weekend roadtrip I doubled up at the gym Monday/Tuesday. Didn't to as much treadmill as usual and struggled a bit last night but feeling great this morning.

How are you feeling this morning/afternoon?
legs are hurting, i didnt have any time to ice them last night after the run because we had to run out and get a few things done, so im not sure if im up for a run tonight, my first 4 mile run might not have been the best one to start with for back to back nights :lol: so i think i will take tonight off, and on thursday and friday ill go back to the higher speed and probably just 2 or so miles on each run, i still wanna get 2 miles straight at 7 mph and havent been able to yet.

Feeling like a million bucks gthis wednesday. Amazing hour session of Yoga monday night, skiing, hike and 50 minute run yesterday....

what does that end up being? like 7 miles or so? i dont know if i would be ready for that so soon, but i am really thinking about running in some type of a 5k, im sure ill get my ass kicked as far as where i finish, but it would be cool to say ive run one.
