If I remember correctly they showed or we heard a news clip saying, "Police officials say their is no truth to the rumor that the cult was connected to Senator Tuttle." Or something to that effect.
yeah i know they didn't get any tuttles, but i thought that they got more than just errol and the missus...like a couple guys in the video maybe? maybe not though.

At the very least, they presumably shut down the physical place were the cult convened.

I've watched up until Episode 7 - finished it at 12:45am this morning and was like "Should I watch the final one now???" but wanted to give it my full attention so hit the hay instead.

So now I'm at work just itching to get home and watch this thing. Man, this has been a great ride - I hope the finale is as good.

I'll be back...

Yep. This show is as close to perfect as any show I've ever seen. It really was like watching a great book.

I'm going to buy the blu-ray, let it sit for a year, then pop it in.

I've already watched each episode at least 3 times each.

Might've been around 4 times. I'd put the show on at night throughout the week to catch whatever I might've missed. If I wanted to see those tits, I'd just look up the scene on the internet.

Yeah, but you'd miss all the context surrounding the tits/cake.

Didn't see this posted. Deleted scene from a couple episodes ago.

I've probably watched that bird swirl clip about over a dozen times. I think it was the song by Cuff the Duke that elevated it.

my favorite 5 minutes of the show is still probably the last 5 minutes of episode 3 - rust's "it was all the same dream" monologue followed by the gas mask shot of ledoux

The pace and atmosphere of the show got me hooked. So subtle, elegant and intense at the same time, a truly southern gothic masterpiece.

What was Rust and Marty's plan for when they got to the Childress house?

"Uhhh, I'll sort of drift away from you and look around while you knock on the door of the house of the pyscho we are looking for and ask to use his phone so you can call the real cops to come get him"
