I assume he's referring to Braun being a lot better than Fielder.

you dont always keep the better player...
the Brewers had to move Hart to first for 2 years, and now have either Overbay/Reynolds/Francisco playing first?
outfielders are generally easier to replace, AND, Braun could have fetched a good return before his ego got him in trouble.
