and regarding Chamberlain, I dont see the fit, so until SG posts it, I'm still hoping for Freese or Wilk.

Freese would be an awful fit and Wilk would be boring as batshit.

I'm not a musician, but since those two have drummed for some of my favorite bands, they came to mind.

If you were looking for someone to emulate what Matt does then I'd be thinking someone like Jon Theodore (Queens of the Stone Age) or Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) could get the job done.

An awesome fit that no one other than me would enjoy would be Janet Weiss of Sleater-Kinney. But I'd probably be the only person on Earth who'd suggest that or be excited by the idea.

In the email I got from SG, the dates are attached to a link. I clicked on the one I'm going to and it took me to Ticketmaster. For the heck of it, I clicked on a show farther down the list and it took me to Live Nation. I guess it depends on the location.

Got in easily for the presale, but the best available seats were at the back of the amphitheater. I gave them up, tried again a couple more times, and then just bit the bullet and bought a pair. But going back into the presale, I found tickets much closer just in front of the board. So I snagged those and now have a pair at Will Call to part with.
