There's only one genuinely American experience, and it's that of a white guy from New Jersey.

the crowd's really eating that shit up.

did the drummer quit earlier in the set, after realizing what a mistake he had made?

"Strike the pose"

I love this video. Between the lighting, the listless dancing and those chords eddies playing it looks like some twin peaks shit. By the end of it what looks like half the crowd is on the stage. What a weird/awesome way for the show to end.

Damn, I can't make it through this thing.

I challenge anyone to a bagel duel that can successfully get through this song with nothing else going on in your environment, just focused on watching Kroeger

If there was a drummer I'm sure I could get through it.

Be careful what you ask for. You're assuming that it would be improved.

I fucking LOVE this song.

Nothing pro-shot came of this tour beyond the performance in PJ20, right? Such a shame, if true.

Indifference as an opener! Ed stops SoLaT to tell the crowd to stop being so lame. Couple of good improvs too, at 44.40 and 1.05.40 . Second ones got this dark almost reggae sounding funk and some swagger to it. I love me some early pj improvs.

Also strangely clear camera quality for what seems to be a hand held camcorder, in 1994. Or maybe its just me. Sound is fucked up for the first half hour or so though.

so you know, i got no problem with that band doing a cover of immortality and they were at least sincere in their rendition of it but the creeping sensation of .38 Special playing this is a bit too overwhelming for me.

From memory, and I could be wildly wrong, the tapes of the Denver shows and the Boston show at the Orpheum were shot from the mixing desk either by the band's crew or some guys who had permission from the band.

I know the Frogs' set was filmed with two cameras - one in the front and one in the back - but they never did anything with it since they were basically booed off the stage.
