This SHOULDN'T be close, but then again Breakerfall shouldn't have won handily either.

I don't mind not voting for the winner when the loser just oozes Stone Gossard sentimentality.

I like Thin Air a lot, but Go is much more essential to the Pearl Jam experience.

I like Thin Air a whole lot, but Go is one of the band's greatest songs, and maybe the greatest single incarnation of what they was able to accomplish on pure intensity in the early 90's.

Go is phenomenal. Bo'B must have shat himself when he first heard/felt Dave A's intensity.

This was actually harder than I expected, but in the end, it obviously had to be Go.

Yep. Thin Air, along with Satan's Bed and MFC are in my underrated gems category. I don't think Thin Air gets the love it needs, but Go wins this battle.Birds in Hell wrote:Pretty much this.digster wrote:I like Thin Air a whole lot, but Go is one of the band's greatest songs, and maybe the greatest single incarnation of what they was able to accomplish on pure intensity in the early 90's.

Re: Match EB: Go vs. Thin Air
Thin Air is a sentimental favorite, and the one (of the two) that I reach for more often. But Go is a better song. So it gets my vote. So sorry, Thin Air. I still
the entire fuck out of you.
