Awesome man, enjoy. Pick up an easy kit like an Amber or Pale ale.

This years National IPA Champiionship so far and our new, local nanobrewery beat out Founders Centennial! Nice job guys.
I realize it's not scientific by any means, but seriously, LOL at In The Mood beating out Two Hearted Ale.
Yeah, you kind of wonder how much the judges have had to drink before they judge.

I really hope Reid and Nate read this... Founders Brewing is expanding distribution to Texas in April 2013.

I'm not crazy about Saranac in general, but this wasn't bad. I've been enjoying, though it's maybe a little heavy on the Red and a little light on the IPA.

Anyone have the Dogfish Head/Sierra Neveda IPA collaboration Rhizing Bines? I bought a .750 last night and am anxious to try it.

You need to update your address. The owners of your former home are probably still savoring that 6-pack I sent.

What did you think? When was it brewed? The fresher for that stuff, the better.

I didn't check the brew date, but it tasted like a fresh beer. I really enjoyed it. On it's own, it's a great beer, albeit slightly overhyped.

I got the chance to try Great Lakes' new DIPA, Alchemy Hour this weekend and it was really nice. I would say it's comparable to Hopslam (same fantastic nose and balance) but with a touch of booziness in the finish . Definitely recommended.

Cracking open one of my Trader Joes 2012 vintage, saving the other ones until after they age for a year or so.

I know Hefeweizens and fruity beer are generally frowned upon, but this really hit the spot with the warmer weather this past weekend

Ew, yeah.. I dunno about that.

There's nothing wrong at all with a good hefeweizen or even a raspberry beer if the fruit isn't over the top. That particular beer has way too much raspberry for my taste and it always tasted like they use an extract instead of fruit. Raspberry shouldn't be really sweet in a beer it should actually add a bit of flavor and tartness to it. It can actually give a nice balance to a roasty porter.
