Match EU: Given to Fly vs. Long Road

I voted for Given to Fly but Long Road will take this one, methinks

Given to Fly is so good. I always think of the touring band 2000 DVD where Ed points out the woman doing sign language for the hearing impaired fans at the show. St. Louis I believe? Awesome moment and performance.

Long Road is such an great opener for a show. Gawd this is tough.

I think LR really shines live, and isn't as impactful in the studio cut. It sounds like it's stuck in a box on Merkinball, and it really excels in an outdoor venue where it can just carry out into the open air.

Tough choice. I think in leaning Long Road due to the GtC Zeppelin connection that has hurt GtF a bit for me.

"Given to Fly" is one of the few songs by any artist that has truly profound resonance in my life. "Long Road" is a more than worthy contender but I can't shake that personal connection. Vote for "GTF."

I think Parting Ways sounds more like Long Road than Given to FLy sounds like Going to California, and I don't think either fact matters the slightest bit
