Eddie Vedder gets the panties wet. Women make up a lot more than 10%.

the thing with a pearl jam fanbase, despite being mostly male, there are a lot of female spouses who attend the shows as well.

I did a search on google images for pearl jam fan. It looks like 40% of the fans are female, 30% are male, 10% are babies, and 20% are Eddie Vedder.

First time I saw Springsteen it felt like a Windows convention. 100% white crowd who probably drove Toyota Camry's.

I doubt PJ are that far outside the norm for mainstream rock bands when it comes to the diversity of their audience.

Anecdotally, how many of us know people of color or non cis/het sexualities who are fans of PJ?

I'm not trying to "prove" something with this thread, I'm just curious about this sort of thing

I thought this might be lead to a discussion about PJ fans' diversity in other musical genres, not a statement about how many black guys aren't at their shows. Is this surprising to anyone? Don't we realize a hip hop/ r&b concert is going to be the polar opposite in terms of attendance?
