PJ played Oracle Open World a few years ago - that was waaaay worse than this.

At least Marc Benioff (SF.com CEO) is chummy with a lot of the music industry, Neil Young in particular, and the company has a foundation that contributes a stack to charity. It's still a shock to see PJ/EV doing corporate gigs, but at least with Salesforce.com they're in good company - recent bands to play at Dreamforce include Neil Young, Chilis, Black Crowes, Foo Fighters and Metallica.
