IN LIKE FLINT
Used by morons who are either too stupid, young, or lazy to make themselves aware of the original meaning of the phrase "In like FLYNN." Originated from the actor ERROL FLYNN, who was an early twentieth century actor well known for being a ladies man.
Next time you hear someone say 'in like flint' slap them unless they're talking about the 1967 movie by the same title.
I really liked James Coburn's acting in "in like FLINT." If I was that smooth, I'd be "in like FLYNN" with the ladies.
..... Sorry.... But I couldn't place where I knew that phrase from....

But it's Austin Power's favorite movie.

I have Baylor, Tennessee, Kentucky, San Diego St, Florida, Virginia, and Connecticut in my final 8. That's 7 of 8 still alive. I am doing well thus far.
The greatest rivalry in college basketball renews this Friday in the real March Madness. Kentucky v Louisville. My alma mater vs. my hometown school.
My office is like a war zone this week. Louisville always gets the highest TV ratings of any city in the country by far during March Madness. It's like a rite of passage around here. From late March through May, it's college basketball (conf tourney + ncaa tourney), then horse racing (keeneland then the Ky Derby). My favorite time of the year, spring is on its way, the leaves are starting to bloom, and basketball plus thoroughbreds plus bourbon makes my happy.

Wow, 7 of 8 left! Impressive, you should of entered the billion dollar tourni could win 100k with those picks. Yeh man, the NCAA tourni is the best sporting event IMO, that Kentucky Louisville game will be nutty. I'm also a horse racing fan, never been to Kentucky but I've been to Belmont dozens if times, especially on the last leg of the stakes (I've seen done horse have a shot at the triple crown and blow it, kinda like me in fantasy league)

So, I only ended up with 3 of the 8 actually getting though... KY, Florida, & Connecticut. And two of my Final Four, KY and Florida. I had SDSU and Virginia in the other slots. Still might win the office pool, but only if my Cats take take the whole thing. And beating Louisville was the highlight of my year thus far, if anyone is interested.Rat wrote:hlniv wrote:Consider me a real man.Rat wrote:Bumps

A bigger highlight than tying for the Australian leg Fantasy championship?

What if you win Euro Fantasy and get to send CopperTom home with his dick in his hand. Will that rank higher?hlniv wrote:It was tough, but, I'll give the edge to sending pitino home with his dick in his handCopperTom wrote:A bigger highlight than tying for the Australian leg Fantasy championship?
