a great little french crepe place in our neighborhood has opened back up. the original owner retired, his son had plans to take over, then had a heart attack and died, so it shut down. then the pub down the street (also great), lured the original owner out of retirement and into partnership. the head chef and some other employees have returned as well.

we just tried out this Asian hot pot joint that's new in town.
it was so amazing that i actually wrote a pretty shitty review of it on tripadvisor. it was that good...and we didn't even do the hot pot. i mean, love it. sit down a the table and all the writing on the heaters at the table are in Chinese. the menu is elaborate and confusing as hell. the waitresses are cute and barely speak English. the food is really fresh and delicious.
