yeah, that's not an award winning lyric. Yet somehow No Way continues to advance in the MM tournament.

The lyrics are pretty bad for this song, especially the "I'm in the fire, but I'm still cold" one. Despite that though, this song does come across really well as a concert opener.

I kinda like that lyric. I'm not tattooing it on my arm, but it's fine. And I really like the central pendulum lyric. But this song is all about the music.

it's frustrating, because all of the component parts are there for it to be awesome and it consistently falls flat in every scene.

Just seems like he could've written better "to and fro" type of lyrics in there. I mean, the song was ready for Backspacer. Its just a little disappointing.

Oh they certainly could have been better, and improved the song even more. But (and this is surprising for me) I find I don't care much about the lyrics here, even though I'm usually drawn to the lyrics on slower atmospheric pieces like this. I just want to hear the music, and I think Eddie sounds good.

"ah ah ah ah ah" is probably the best lyrics in the song. i really love that chanting part at the end. the whole song makes me wanna paint my face and dance around a fire naked. great song.

I like the ah ah ah, too. It's something new, as Stip points out. This is probably my favorite PJ song since "I am Mine."
