These are probably all recent live versions so any other them could be deemed shite except maybe HHail.

Today I was driving with a friend who knows I am a Pearl Jam fan and he told me "Man, there's a Pearl Jam song I really love, but I can't remember what it's called." He said he remembered liking it in the 90s, and that it has some deep, manly singing on it. Also, it totally rocks. I busted out my ipod and tried to help him figure out which one it was. I'll list the four songs I played for him, not in the order I played them. Try to guess on which song he said, "This is it! I love this song!"

"Alive"
"Even Flow"
"Jeremy"
"Even Flow (Single/Video Version)"

Which one of the above songs was the Pearl Jam song this guy really liked?

Also, Sarge, add another poll to this thread. Thanks.

Trick question. It was "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by the Crash Test Dummies.

When I make my "Greatest Cow Hits of the 90's" compilation, that one will come right before Release.

Inadequate information, no closure, a poll... this was the perfect thread to inflame RM's collective autism. We'll be hung up on this for months. Good job.

And the answer is.......

you really want to know?.....

spoiler ahead.......

We listened to three straight Pearl Jam songs, then this song came on, listened for about a minute and he said, "This crap has got to go."....

the song was"Tremor Christ." Those repetitive clanging chords that just go nowhere is enough to drive a sane person to a sanitarium. I agreed with him. That's a bad song. So we switched the channel to, get this, The Grateful Dead station! Oh, my God, Grateful Dead was deemed better to listen to than "Tremor Christ." Now that really tells us all just how bad "Tremor Christ" is.
