thip's band is guaranteed to sound exactly like a les claypool project now, regardless of who else is in it

that would be my concern with him. He's someone you'd need to build around. I'm not sure how well he'd work with others.

But lets see where he goes with this.

I don't know... A good vocalist can make a big difference there. Les claypool only bothers me when he speaks.

Bruce Willis would make a fine addition to that band.

I think we all have to make enough of a leap that those we are picking will get along well enough to play music together. Because really we have no clue how any of them would gel. Even those that seem like they'd get along great...

yeah, I've been assuming that personality issues aren't a problem. I'm just trying to envision how styles would compliment each other (or not)

don't forget Booger Presley, Poindexter, Lamar Latrelle, Lewis & Gilbert, or Wormser.

C'mon stip, the odds are heavily in your favor that at least ONE of the four guys EJ posted will still be on the board when you pick.

Damn good choices while I slept. I too was about to pick Stewart Copeland but I did have reservations.

I contemplated joining it and slowly picking each member from The Offspring, but then I realized that's against the rules.
