I posted about it in a different thread, but I saw Elvis Costello and the Roots in Las Vegas this past weekend and it was mindblowing.

I also just bought my ticket to go see Yo La Tengo in June, here in Buenos Aires. Really excited.

Jorge, if you could only make it to one show, which one would you rather attend: Beck or Rufus Wainwright?

Beck for sure! I like Rufus Wainwright a lot but I have a feeling his shows would be a bit... much

The live DVD that came with his "Want Two" was great--had me really wanting to see him for a while, but over the years my general interest in him waned, in fact I think that's probably the last album of his I heard. I'd pick Beck too.

I didn't think I was going, but I just got a free ticket to Lollapalooza Argentina. So... guess I'm going!

The lineup is... ehhh.

My friend is trying to convince me to fly to London with her in September to see Kate Bush at the Hammersmith Apollo (she bought an extra ticket and has no one to go with). I like Kate Bush quite a bit, but that trip would cost a lot more money than I think I'm prepared to spend, to see a musician I was perfectly fine with never seeing. Those tickets are in super high demand right now, she could flip it and make a healthy profit.

But it would be fun.

Saw the Toadies at the Gothic Theatre last night... Music was great... They played all of Rubberneck as a 20th anniversary thing, took a quick break, and came out for an encore of songs not on Rubberneck. I lasted one of those songs.

So, I've been doing this 1994 20th anniversary nostalgia trip. Although I've completely romanticized some of the stupid shit I did at age 16/17, I can't stand being around it now!

The reason why I left so early is because of this... Stupid fucking mosh pits, where these bros don't give a fuck who is around them. Hell, I don't even think some of them come for the music Instead, they simply want to be 'King of the Pit!' FFS, what was I thinking when I used to do this stupid shit?!

Also, I just had to be behind some dipshit who evidently has made headbanging an artform. When I leaned in to say, "Hey buddy, your neck is going to be sore as hell tomorrow," he replied by telling me he has just been getting warmed up, and then effectively turned his own head into a rag doll that his shoulder and neck muscles were tossing around SO VIOLENTLY... Again, why did I ever do this shit.

Basically, I was disgustipated by people... acting like idiots... like I used to do... so I left early...

I AM OLD!

Lollapalooza Brazil - April 5th

Elekfantz - new brazilian electronic duo, very good, their debut album will be released next month, high hopes for it

Capital Cities - sweet show, so much energy, i have a thing for this guys

Cage the Elephant - crazy fuckin rock n roll, the vocalist is a beast and have mental issues, a band to watch

Julian Casablancas - very bad show, the new stuff is very noisy and didnt worked live

Imagine Dragons - Coldplay-ish, sing-a-long chorus and etc...not bad live

Phoenix - best show of the day, this was a huge surprise, listening to their albums, i never thought that they would put a show like that...very intense

Nine Inch Nails - NIN by numbers, good show, maybe they arent a festival band?

Disclosure - :heartbeat: 1h30 set....love these guys
Sometimes I wanna drive around and find you
And act like it's a random thing
