I can't draft my favorite drummer because of the rules. David Grohl was my backup. So I'm gonna go ahead and pick the other guy

I think his performance on the records we have is amazing and if he was able to have a longer career with a prominent band I think we'd all be floored with how great this guy was. As is, he's probably my second favorite drummer, who I think can bridge the space between Prince and Billy Corgan. And I'm drafting someone from pearl jam, damn it

I've got one more pick, Lament. Then I'm comfortable with my team

Nice bootleg Calvin shirt.

stip being the first person to draft a (former) member of Pearl Jam restores a tiny bit of order to a universe still reeling from him picking Paul McCartney.

Stip, I only joined because you promised to not draft anyone from Pearl Jam. Now you definitely get my vote for most disingenuous.

And I'm taking John Lennon. Because John fucking Lennon, that's why.

also apparently I never actually agreed to that. You just kinda threw it out there.

Regardless, I think I deserve credit for not drafting Edde. I would have taken Jeff instead of Paul McCartney but I needed Dave for drums after Lament took the other Dave. It's all very complicated.

stip took Prince for his work with 94 East, Billy for his work in the Marked, Laura Burhenn for her work in Georgie James, Macca for his work in Wings, and Dave A. for his work with Hairy Apes BMX.

Guys, I think Joey will need to be absolved of his promise to quit if I drafted a Beatle. He's an honorable man, after all.

There's no credit, sir. It was implied when you agreed to join.

Also, I'm just being disingenuous.

I want my bassist to stand up and play bass. On the upright bass, from Bill Haley and His Comets,

I think most of these teams ended up coming together pretty nicely--with pretty clear internal logics or interesting possibilities.

my only issue with your team is that I feel like you're forcing tom waits into his jazz box, which is the my least favorite waits receptacle
