The end of the bridge/final chorus/outro of porch makes porch a top 5 song. Hail Hail has great lyrics, I like it a lot, and its grown on me a lot in the past few years, but it just doesn't touch a nerve the way Porch does. Porch is one of those 'everything I like about Pearl Jam' moments.

There's only 10-12 songs from the band I like better than Porch, but Hail, Hail is one of them.

I think Hail Hail is quintessential PJ, one of the best examples of the band as they were and as they became.

However, it's fucking Porch people. Go listen to any version from 1994 and get back with me.
