A top ten songs of all time constructed from this list of worst songs of all time would be one of the best lists of, dare I say it, all time.

The "Shots!" song by LMFAO wasn't on this list, so it's wrong.

I live in rural Illinois... I have to hear this bullshit at work, every bar around, the grocery store, any time I go out for dinner, etc. I can't go anywhere without hearing crappy country music.

Having lived in rural Illinois, I can attest that this is true. The worst part of it is when you have like 4th tier country singers who are treated like big stars when they play local festivals - as if anyone else knows who they are. And yet...they are popular. I never had any clue who they were and that always mystified people, and yet people made fun of me in high school for listening to The Beatles.

Man I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

Yeah. Rural Illinois isn't known for its musical diversity. There are some diamonds in the rough though, people wise.

Any such list is certainly open for debate but would have to include this song:

Tweedy is from Belleville. Cheap Trick are from Rockford. Peoria had a pretty kickass punk scene in 90s. Hum is from Champaign-Urbana. I could keep going. There's a lot of shit out there, and it forces people to have to create good stuff.

Still, having lived in central Illinois for half my life (Bloomington-Normal), where I regularly had to endure many of the songs on this list at parties and on the radio, it made me really appreciate how great it was to get the hell out.

Also, this song is one of the worst things ever created:

It did? Who were some of the bands? Legitimate question by the way--I have lived in Peoria my whole life and can't remember this at all, though admittedly I''m not really into punk and was 7-16 years old through the '90's, so I could easily have missed out on something like this.
