I liked the braves for one year in 1991.
At the beginning of the year they had no fans, but I decided to be one early in the season when I saw one of their games. There was only about 1,000 or 5,000 people in braves stadium and you were able to go sit right behind home plate at about the third inning.
That year they won the world series.
wait, maybe they lost.
No, I think they won.

funny story..I was in Vegas in Feb of 91..the odds of the braves winning the pennant were very high as you would expect..I really liked the young pitching staff and put $100 down for then to win the pennant..it was a good pay day come october

yep, Twins in 7. Jack Morris pitched 10 innings for the win. Amazing game.

Smoltz certainly pitched well enough for the win, but it wasn't to be. Que sera, sera.

If we're ignoring context (ie WS game 7) this certainly has it rivaled:

That's my personal favorite game ever. It wasnt an important game, but it was the best display of pure great baseball I've ever watched.
