I think it's certainly possible, especially given the episode's title ("The Lion and the Rose"); I mean, I know he's not a Lannister, but it's still on his sigil. The title of episode three makes me think it's going to be very Dany-centric, and the next "Lannister-y" titled episode isn't really until Episode 5, and I don't think they can put it off for that long.

The only thing I don't like about that casting is that he looks too small. Accent works, the vibe and attitude of the character is perfect, but for upcoming plot points involving him I had envisioned a bigger, more buff guy. I had the same issue with the casting of Loras Tyrell, but that worked OK I guess.

The only thing I don't like about that casting is that he looks too small. I think a lot of the casting and costuming decisions on the show have been done to reflect the way houses in Westeros are mythologized (and for sure, this has its seeds in the way Martin describes them). Think of how the Lannisters have golden locks and are all good-looking, or how the Starks are shaggy and rough around the edges...I think it's going to pay off with Oberyn being lithe and cunning like his nickname-sake.
