That's because spenno is excellent at being objective in his criticism of live Pearl Jam and selecting the best performances.

He did a good job with this one. It's certainly not as easy as it sounds.... I'm going thru the early US 2003 shows looking for the best binaural/riot act tunes. It's a tiring, confusing, and sometimes un-enjoyable endeavor. It's like a process of elimination survivor game. I've found some gems, though...

I listened to the 20th Anniversary of St. Pete. This makes me feel old. Still love it though.Iholdthepain wrote:![]()
That's for tomorrow, for sure. First time I saw them, they opened with RVM... 11/12/93. They put a pretty cool beginning onto the front of the song. Also, they ended the show with Angel! Definitely worth checking out if you haven't heard it.

Listening o it now... Good thing he finally got that ABITW tag right... The night before, it was like he didn't know how it went. This is a good quality audience recording up on pearljambootlegs.org.

Guys. It's almost twenty years to the day since the Atlanta radio broadcast. Where the whole idea of collecting bootlegs originated from. For a lot of people.
That was a magic night. Remember it well

11/3/96 Berlin from soundboard remaster series. Sitting on this hot fucking plane next to some big fat dude, squeezing me against the window, waiting to leave the gate for the last 20 minutes.
I am in hell, but somehow Jack's drumming is making it all bearable to me. I loved this band in 96. I still love how they sounded in 96.

If they're just sitting on the tarmac it's ok.WtOB? wrote:obviously you don't have your phone set to flight mode.hlniv wrote:11/3/96 Berlin from soundboard remaster series. Screw that rule. I like leaving my speedometer app open to see how fast we get going at takeoff.cutuphalfdead wrote:If they're just sitting on the tarmac it's ok.WtOB? wrote:obviously you don't have your phone set to flight mode.hlniv wrote:11/3/96 Berlin from soundboard remaster series.
