My votes:

August Heat- I think Jack White could learn a lot and flourish with a guy like Neil; Beck clinched this one for me... Unfortunately, I really hate Josh Homme for the way he acted out on stage against that kid back in '08. I know it shouldn't weigh in on the voting. However, QOTSA has put out some badass music, but I can't really look at the guy anymore.

Spirits Are Rising Stew- What a fucking lineup here! And I can actually envision it... I love Jeff Buckley, but I don't see how he fits in with the likes of Kim, Janice, and Bootsy... in fact, all of those musicians, great in their own bands, seem like a disjointed fit to me here.

Ship Of Fools- ...but only because I'm a racialist. Seriously, though, I like the name, Nina Simone & The Tight Outfit and the lineup is brilliant. Unfortunately for them, Self has put together my 70's wet dream, and kept the narrative short enough to hold my interest. I think it could work very well together, but I just wish they'd have taken Keith's idea to name the band Suck My Sticky Piss Covered Love Helmet"

Of course, I will abstain from voting for M4M, even though they fucking rock! :bammer:

I *think* I know who I'm gonna vote for in the LMS-Self & Argo-THIP match ups. I have a vague idea of who I'm leaning towards in the Varis-DCT match up. I haven't the slightest clue as to who I'm gonna vote for in the Sarge-Kaius match up.

I wish when you posted the matchups instead of just giving the link to the writeup i'm never going to read you'd also just give me a simple roster of each band so I can vote on that.

If any bands still in the tournament would like to post their line ups for chud in an attempt to garner his favor, by all means feel free to.

He called the kid a faggot, incessantly called him dickless, and threw something down on him when security ushered the kid out... very bro-ish if you ask me. I kinda feel the same way about Ed these days, especially in hindsight. The mosquito bites incident, the manicures, the supermodel wife... oh, and this:

(@3:20) Last time I checked, Marky Mark and Madonna have proven to have a shit ton of talent.

Nah... page 1 has them all. Besides, I don't need to garner favor. I know my fake band kicks the most fake ass, and I'm okay with that.

Aroma of Man: I think there may be more coherence with Joey's team, but I'm not a fan of Neil Young and I think I'd really like the music aroma of man would be farting out. Honestly if Neil Young wasn't there I'd probably have voted for Joey. I think the team makes a lot of sense, but I'm going to enjoy Varis' band more.

Souls in Purgatory: Two really nice classic rock dream teams that mesh well together, but as above I'd rather listen to Sarge's band. And Tito Puente beats Ravi Shankar in the 'add a bit of character to the team' pick

Nina Simone... I'd like to see what they can do, and I'm just not interested in listening to a band fronted by John lennon and David Bowie, as much as I like the people surrounding them

Molecules: I worry a bit that the band (drummer excluded) is going to force Tom Waits into the 70s stuff I like the least from him. And I'm not sure what Stephen Stiles is doing here. And so while it really hurts to vote against a tom waits project (other than my team, this is the only one of my favorite singers to make it into this thing) I think Molecules is gonna work a bit better for my tastes, provided les claypool is never singing.
