I was just thinking this would be a good idea for a topic 'round here. I'll have to think about this one but the band that made me think of it is one that you don't hear much about. I actually caught them live way back in the day. So great live. This entire album rules.





The do a pretty nice cover of the Stones' "Wild Horses" and had a reasonably good-sized hit on their second album with "Summertime," but that debut was just unreal. A true overlooked gem from 1989. Recommended!

If everything you like falls into this category then yes. I just like the idea of having easy access to a thread that places emphasis on lesser known albums and bands that are still really great that for one reason or another have gotten lost in the shuffle and that many people may not have heard before. If you know a lot of these types of albums then post away... I am always interested in hearing something different...
