My earlier prediction of an Argo-LMS championship round looks as good as most of my predictions right about now.

Right, this was tough to vote on, but I'm gonna go with:

Aroma of Man - Best band in the tourney, hands down. Would just rock out and until they passed out.
Souls in Purgatory - Buckley, Bootsy, Bonham and Bottum.
Nina Simone and the Tight Outfit - is it 'cause I's black?
Molecules 4 Mercy - toughest match for me. In the end the write up won it for M4M.

Boo-ya!

I have three of my votes ready to go, but can't decide in the Kaius-Sarge match up. That one is proving to be insanely difficult for me.

In other news... M4M frontwoman, Annie Clark got to fill some big ass shoes tonight at the R&R HoF induction ceremony... Played 'Lithium' with Nirvana!

She was in the Polyphonic Spree back in the mid 00's, they used to play that song all the time. I'll have to post some clips when I have a chance.

Alright, I've got to cast my votes at some point, so I'll drop the three I'm prepared to vote on now...

Aroma of Man - They're so, so, so manly, and I can weirdly see them being a lot of fun. I like Joey's band a lot, but the sheer insanity of Varis' is drawing me in at the moment. That article he just posted didn't hurt his cause either. :-)

Nina Simone & The Tight Outfit - Self's band is stellar, but LetMeSleep's is every bit as star-studded, spans generations/eras, puts iconic talents into settings outside of their comfort zone in a way that still makes sense, and features Stevie Wonder (who, as a visit to his thread in OB would quickly tell you, I'm a bit of fan of).

Molecule For Mercy - A multi-instrumentalist female up front, a lead guitarist from one of the biggest bands of the 70s, a drummer from one of the most important alternative rock bands of the 90s, a bass player from another iconic alternative band, and a dude from Radiohead doing weird shit. I feel obliged to vote for a band that bears that many similarities to mine. Also, for as much respect as I have for the legacies of everyone in Argo's band, Chris Frantz is the only one who appears on records I listen to with any sort of regularity and would consider myself to be a fan of. ::ducks for cover::

And yeah...I still can't decide between between Kaius & Sarge. One of you convince me! This is hard!

So yeah, with five hours left to go...

DCT leads 8-6. Can Varis convince a few people hanging out on RM to get in here and tie this thing up?

Kaius leads 9-4. Can Sarge use his mod status to mount a comeback, or is it too late?

Self & LMS are tied 6-6. :o Is the winner here the favorite to win it all? Who pulls it out?

THIP leads 11-3. I still keep expecting a parade of Tom Waits fans to come in here and save Argo's band though. THIP is kicking loads of butt in both of his matches so far.

If Self & LMS are still tied at 8:30 tonight (or if any other matches are), we'll leave that match open for another 24 hours and hope somebody can convince some other people to come vote.
