so... who are you into these days?

Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

Lately I've been listening to a lot of:

Melvins and Big Business
Turing Machine and Holyfuck
Wooden Shjips
Pixies, particularly Trompe le Monde and the new stuff.

Anyways, I can't get enough of Kurt Vile lately. I've had "Wakin on a Pretty Daze" on my turntable for days, and I just listen to some sides of it over and over again.
Wouldn't that basically be the "Now Playing" thread?

Ah, yes, that's the one I was looking for. As you can see from the fact that it's on the first page, I didn't look too hard. But I do think this one serves a different purpose.

Her voice is pretty much perfection. I actually haven't listened to them for a little bit, so I'm going to correct that mistake today.

Yeah, I'm have a huge crush on her talent. Her voice, her words, her whole persona is amazing. And she's super sweet in real life, too. Spin those birds!

So, I got the limited edition white vinyl version of Lilly and Madeleine's LP. I didn't even request that edition! But I'm spinning it and it's so fucking good.

I find myself listening to mostly PJ and Counting Crows these days. Might as well be living perpetually in 1996.

I've also been into Menomena, French Kicks, Kids These Days, and White Denim lately.

But I always come back to The National, Wilco, and Bon Iver. That's my golden standard.
