These two are damn close and would make a pretty good double act. I'll vote for SARS but only just. And that may just be because I've been on a Queen binge lately.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated and to everyone who voted. I had a blast doing this, and I hope all of you did too. This far exceeded my expectations, and that's pretty great. I hope we do this again, and hopefully next time we'll pull an even bigger pool of participants!

My only changes would be less time per round to vote, and retire previously-drafted players. I like voters being held responsible, unlike that other farce of an RM tourney.

I'm thinking we'll give people less time to make their picks (six hours instead of eight) and keep the voting open for 48 hours instead of 72. I don't know if I think we should retire every one who was picked, but I was thinking that anyone who has competed before can only pick one member they'd taken in a previous tournament. I'm open to whatever people think is best when we do this again, though.

but there are SO MANY musicians to choose from, retiring them all would keep the ideas fresh and creative (relatively speaking). I'm interested to see what others think about this. I like the new timeframe idea.

I think a lot of it will depend on how many are in it next time. If we can get like sixteen or more and a lot of them weren't in this one, then I don't think we'd need to retire people.

If we have like eight, and most of them were in this one, then I think retiring picks could be a good idea.
