[Simple Torture]

Stat-gasm will come after Round 3, including a new set of Ultimate Standings. Pretty sure things will be shaken up from where they were last time.

I, too, wish the categories were a little bit easier to put together and a little more even. Even with how well the "Other" category is doing with its wins, it's at an overall disadvantage because it's got more songs than any other category (that hurts its win percentage in the end). If I could somehow normalize the number of songs in each group, I'd love to. Maybe in the next tournament, I'll track categories by era, so each category would include album cuts, b-sides, demos, Xmas singles, and "other" rolled into one. In fact, I love this idea.

With three songs left, it looks like Vitalogy is going to run away with this! I will certainly update everything after the final round, though. I'll also create the Overall Standings, which will rank the songs from 1-??? (however many songs there were), based on which round they were eliminated in and how they fared in their final round.

Only interesting tidbit I've got floating around today is that Sometimes is the only song in the final 8 that didn't get a first-round bye (Not For You and Off He Goes were the only other tunes that made it to the final 16 without a bye).

Really surprised that Yield didn't end up with a much better showing... especially considering how much it seems to be revered by RM. Also, a little surprised that No Code held up so well.

How it works: songs are ranked by which round they got to and then what percentage of their match's votes in that round. So, for example: of all the songs that were eliminated in Round 3, Black had the vote percentage in that round (49.45%) so it's ranked number 1 in that round (which is good for 33rd overall). And so on. I've spoliered it since it's such a long list; enjoy!
