If David Freese was butthurt or annoyed with the Brewers after the 2011 season then he's just a jerk. They really could not have been any nicer to him.

Settle Down kids LOL

1 - Gomez is a hot dog and a hot head, he show boats (like lots of players today) and really shouldnt get so short fuzed over it, in his SLIGHT defense, Friday his wife called him just before the game, their new born child was having complications (struck out his first at bat and shattered the bat over his knee/the ground in rage) so he was a bit on edge all weekend to start

2 - Cole claiming he just told him to run, theres a few clear audible F-bombs mr Cole, and you say you didnt swear, please
3 - the dude off the Pirates bench is the true starter of this... the umpire got Gomez cooled off from Cole pretty quick, it was that bench player who got back into Gomez's face that started the whole fist-a-cuffs
4 - the the Brewers player (backup catcher Maldonado) was the one with the "cheap shot" when you see 2 players jumping your teamate... yeah, and Jim Gantner, Gorman Thomas, and Rob Deer would have done that, and then some, I was at a great brawl back in the 80s, Gantner and Deer were not too ya wanted to fuck with in a brawl (think that one was against the Twins LOL)

5 - the Pirates and Brewers have a lil history over the last few years with bean-balls already, so there might be more to what was going on

6 - Brauns not cluth? hes hitting HORRIBLE in all but what 5 or 6 games? hes hitting like .200 if ya get rid of the 3 homer, 2 homer, and 1 homer games. and has 3 horrible at bats where he appears like his thumbs hurting him, again, then comes up in the 9th and hits a homer and gets all "im the greatest" and dont get me started on his crappy D

7 - to the dude who brought up Gomez and the Braves? the Braves were jawing just as much with Gomez last year, AND, the Braves had pulled the same stunt with Florida just a few weeks before that, even though Evan Gatis and a few of their players watch homers all the time

8 - in every video ive ever seen of Babe Ruth, he watches his homers LOL, is this unwritten rule written because people got sick of Babe watching his?

9 - the Brewers might be the worse 15-5 team ever? winning a 4 error game? getting a double play on the bases on a ball in the dirt tonight and still winning? way too many fundamental mistakes this teams making right now and still winning.

10 -

Great players aren't always great, they're only great when they have to be.

I'm not arguring. I know he has no clue on acceptable and professional behavior. It's tough to argue otherwise.

Moose would've put Gomez in a headlock and dragged him back to his own dugout before anyone could have sucker punched him.

I'd love to see this video if Babe Ruth admiring his HRs. Every video I've seen involves Babes "shuffle" run almost immediately after contact. I'm saying bullshit.

I've never seen Gattis admire a HR either. He was a HR sprinter last year. I have the package and watch all the games. I'm an adult and would never defend an adult for acting like a piece if shit. Definite bull shit here.

Gomez himself accepted all responsibility for the Braves incident last year. So don't distort what happened. Accept what he is and move on.

that is definitely not putting your head down and running, and his lil shuffle surely isnt hustling around the bases either

thats a pretty good bat flip Mr Gattis... im going to bet Mr Cole wouldnt like that too much

and the point was, the Braves started TWO brawls in a span of a few weeks claiming to suddenly be the authority in unwritten rules. I didnt defend Gomez at all. MLB Network did a great breakdown last year of Braves players breaking the unwritten "watching homerun" rule, and Gattis was definitely in that package.

and the 82 Brewers were a bunch of drunk brawlers hahahahaha Gomez would fit right in on that team idiots.

gattis was a slight (admiration) look at best and then the bat flip. gomez was different, very cocky. mind you i hate baseball so its not like im being a homer or anything.

ruths is hardly being cocky in the least on all that
