We (Wild) have been the better team for 90% of this series. The only reason its not on the brink of sweep is because Varlomov has been playing out of his mind. Sucks that the wild may not be good enough to not have to play out of our fucking minds/get 50 shots a game to win.

Also, Playoff hockey. Nothing better. S my D sports bros.

It just makes me angry when I see any regular season action. Those games should be half price.

It really is a worlds different. Maybe the NHL should cut it down to the 24 game High SChool schedule. Or whatever it is these days...

With the exception of Bergeron, the Bruins are quite loathsome . I didn't think any team could top the Ducks in my book but they may have.

*Not bitter about the series. My Wings still have some growing up to do.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

I'm having a hard time generating any hatred for the red wings.

Patrick Roy needs to figure out a way to make Nathan MacKinnon think he's always playing a home game.

The Wild have been the better team by far in their building, but in Denver, it's been pretty even. The Avs are also missing their first line center, third line center, and because of that dipshit Cooke, their second best defenseman. Sounds like Duchene may play next game though.

Varlamov has been playing like this all year.

I hate blaming the ref's but:

That is such a total season changer missed call right there. Right before they scored the tying goal.

I haven't even seen the replay yet, but what do you think are the chances, based on that picture, that he gets his back foot down before the puck crosses the blue line? I'm pretty sure they're close to zero.

I mean, ultimately we gave up a short handed goal, couldnt clear the puck when the goalie was pulled and couldnt stop the OT but.....

Give me an example. I've never seen a missed call at an important time during an important game in any sport ever.

i meant that a player gets a foot down at the last minute.

from the still its hard to tell what his left foot is doing (aside from just above the ice)

its not like hes 25 feet offsides its one of those plays that the ref makes in a split second while everyone else has the opportunity of frame by frame slo-mo reply for the next 30 minutes

Eh, that one is pretty blatant. ive seen refs call much closer....

On top of the penalty called on Coyle...It was just a mess.

its only pretty blatant cause it happened to your team. if it was the wild who got away with it youd chuckle and say dems the breaks

Doesnt mean it would not have been a blatant miss call. Whats your point?

Also, FTR, I did state the Wild ultimately lost the game themselves. But sometimes you need lucky breaks/the right calls!
