Interesting take. I think a lot of people here would like it more if it had RA's production values.

And if Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Agorilla and Shania Twain hadn't been song contributors

Yeah, I haven't played it since November.

I've looked at the cover art tough.

Six months or so after this came out the only songs I can listen to now are the first three, "Infallible" and live versions of the title track. From the looks of it, I'm doing better on the album than some of you.

I can't remember the last time I had the urge to play this. LB live rocks, though. And I miss me some Swallowed Whole come to think of it.

SBM came on the PJ Sirius channel yesterday, and my first thought was "cute". Then I put on the Fargo 2003 bootleg and got my PJ fix the right way

getaway: love this one. Jeff and Ed sound great. Intro could be better but the last 90 seconds is incredible!!!! Should of been 3rd single. 5 stars.

Mind Your Manners: like it, good song that could of been a great song. Intro which is awesome needs to be longer & Ed needs to relax the vocals and rewrite some outro lyrics. 4 stars

My Fathers Son: good song love the last verse !! Could use another cuss "thanks for this and fucking thanks for that". Bass sounds a bit nuddled needs to be thumping. 4 stars

Sirens : Has grown on me. Love Eds lyrics and Matt sounds great on this one, I should like it more I cant explain why i dont. Maybe because its been on the radio so long now and should of been replaced with a new singlwe December/January. Shouldn't be track 4. 3 stars

Lightning Bolt : live 5 stars. Recorded version wtf??? From the intro to the fucking fade out what was BOB thinking. Matts drums star live on the album it doesn't even sound like he is in the same room. Love the song amazing lyrics!!! Quite simply the worst recorded version of a PJ song I've heard taking over from Gone and Speed of Sound. If we had a proper recorded version without the fade out would of been a good track leading into Sirens.

Infallible: love it. "You think we've been here before......." "Our ships come in....." Parts are sublime!!! Verse/Chorus I love them both. Stone & Jeff are a fantadtic writibng combo and Eds lyrics are excellent. The bass should of been more thumping in the mix .
5 star song for me.

Pendulum: love!!! Jeff and Stone again!!!! Ed sounds amazing!! Love the outro, first song if any of my friends ask to hear the album ill play them. 5 stars.

Swallowed Hole : there's a good song in here somewhere. Great solo and I like the last half of this one. Not a fan of Eds vocals "down down down" how about a Vedder like "dddddddoooooowwwwnnnnnn" 3.5 stars

One can only hope that an afterlife exists, that it is truly wondrous beyond all human imagining, and that the only requirement for entrance is that you never once in your brief lifetime ranked anything using a goddamn star system.
