While that's an awesome .gif, Durant has been throwing up as many bad, ballhoggy, iso shots as Westbrook in this series. I know some of the credit has to go to Memphis, but OKC doesn't even look they run plays on offense. Every series it seems like there are three options:
1. Wild, pull up J from Westbrook or Durant.
2. Durant or Westbrook drive hard to the basket.
3. Wait until the shot clock is at 2 or 3 and chuck up a long J.

You just described the Thunder's offense for the past 4 years.

Stupid Paul getting away with that foul on Curry. The Warriors had business being that close at the end but c'mon, you have to call that.

The thought of KD having the ball in his hands with his team within 20 points is frightening, but it's hard to see them winning the title playing offense that appears to be devoid of any actual scheme.

Brian Windhorst's tweet last night says it all...

Grizzlies know all of OKC's plays. When the 1st option is taken away the Thunder often just shut down their offense.

Do you guys think Nene will get a one game suspension for this? Other than it being weird and stupid, Jimmy was a BEAST after this altercation. It cost them the game...

Seems like it should be more than 1 game. Butler really restrained himself. Pretty amazing he kept his cool in that situation.

One game for Nene. He deserved it too. It was laughable hearing the ESPN clownshoes talk about how he didn't deserve one because "it already cost them the game."

I watched the Bad Boys Doc today. The Nene/Butler fight was cute in comparison.

Fell down into the basketball-reference.com wormhole tonight. Intense basketball nerd-dom to follow...

Why don't the 1970-1971 Milwaukee Bucks figure into more discussions about the greatest teams in NBA history?

http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/MIL/1971.html

66-16. Winning streaks of 20, 16, and 10 games. 12-2 postseason record with their smallest margin of postseason victory being 8 points. Kareem in his prime. Oscar a bit past it but still a force to be reckoned with. They obliterated a Lakers team that would go on to stake a claim as THE greatest team ever the next year (though as a homer I will always defer to the 1996 Bulls). But seriously, why don't they get mentioned alongside the 96 Bulls, 72 Lakers, 86 Celtics, 65 Celtics, 83 Sixers, etc.?

Watched it last night. I could watch a whole doc on a Pistons/Bulls rivalry.

They are. The much hated Bill Simmons has them ranked 7th in his Book of Basketball.

So were the 72 Lakers and 83 Sixers, but that doesn't stop people from creaming over them.
