Checked out one of the local stores today - no luck on getting an extra copy of REM or finding the school of seven bells 'put your sad down' ep - will hopefully check some other stores tomorrow

The Shepherd's Dog sounds fantastic; I don't know what it is about that LP, but it's one of the best-sounding that I own.durdencommatyler wrote:As a birthday gift to myself this year, I picked up:

Figured I'd share this here. Numero's Big Dawg Rob Sevier gets Lethal on RSD's corporate ass.

RSD releases are like buying a mezuzah inscribed by a drunken sofer in shitty, illegible Hebrew. The symbol loses its meaning as it loses its function.

and he said that three years ago. i'm guessing he doesn't think it's improved much if at all since then, but numero is still putting out stuff for rsd, so he can't be too unhappy about it.super nintendo chalmers wrote:Figured I'd share this here. what i strongly agreed with, though, was when he said, "But what most record stores most badly need is an Official Go Into A Record Store And Buy Some Shit That’s Already Sitting In The Bins Day (trademark)." i think record store day started out with pretty close to this ideal in mind, but obviously it's exploded well beyond that and that vision got lost quickly (as evidenced by the the actions of "rsd cop" referenced in the article).

Any vinyl people here familiar with this?
http://www.discogs.com/Dee-Dee-Ramone-D ... se/4778896
I bought this years ago and it's numbered 55/350. Is this just some junk or is this a nice collectible to have?

Its so good to finally have a proper copy of these songs, way better than the shitty mp3s I've had for ages.
