Yeah, my copy of Document is one of those IRS UK reissues with the bonus tracks, one of them is the acoustic version from McCabe's guitar shop. So great.

I mean, I get that it's probably been played to death, and it was their first big crossover hit, but The One I Love is definitely an instance where a great band crossed over with a truly great single.

I can't find it on youtube but the one from the 2001 Unplugged is just amazing. It makes the McCabe version look like shit. They turn it into such a sad, aching, regretful song
