Last 2 minutes really saved the episode for me.

I did enjoy the dragon sight gag, and I appreciate the way they are showing Dany learn her idealist bullshit just doesn't work. Real rulers have to collect taxes and deliver bad news. Every goddam sheepherder can't be paid 3 times the value of his flock or there will be nothing left in the treasury.

PS. I was kind of terrified that we would see Reek's groin.

Is Bronn still in King's Landing? I can't remember if Tyrion sent him away or not. I can't think of anyone else who would fight for him if Jaime isn't able/can't bring himself to so clearly set himself against Tywin/Cersei. If Bronn is gone, what will he do?

You can tell by Oberyn's questions and subtle smirks that he figured out the whole trial was bullshit.

it surely seems that way. selmy has to know- has he mentioned it on the show at all? i'd imagine something has to happen down the road where selmy outs jorah's intentions, at least initially, to daenerys. that seems too interesting a plot point to not visit, and with varys mentioning it last night, the show seems to be wanting to remind viewers- like me, apparently- that jorah's service started with ill intentions.

I'm a big fan of Dinklage's portrayal but I felt like he almost overacted certain parts of last nights' episode. I still enjoyed his performance, but the real winner was the writing in those scenes.

I don't think Tywin would let Jamie fight - he is far too important to the family - which is why I think it'll be the Mountain. He's definitely the most fearsome knight at Tywin's disposal.

I think Jamie's fighting one way or another (probably for Tyrion if I had to guess) -- those scenes training with Bronn had to have some significance.
