Yeah, what a lovely song. Shame no one took it. I'm not participating in the tournament but I'll take it, just so it doesn't feel left out. And I would have been thrilled with ''Low Desert.''

Chud had an amazing first half. Harborcoat, World Leader Pretend, Sweetness Follows, Crush With Eyeliner, Shaking Through, and Belong. The second half wasn’t so top heavy. Stip was more consistent throughout, with lots of highlights, even late in the game: You Are the Everything Uberlin, Try Not to Breathe, Life and How to Live It, Houston, and Star 69. A close contest, but stip has a slight edge here and gets my vote.

I didn’t think the second matchup would be quite so close. From a distance, Phil had this one in the bag. A lot of my top songs here, including Me in Honey, Maps and Legends, Bang and Blame, So Fast So Numb, 9-9, Just a Touch, and Ignoreland. From afar, Kaius looked doomed, but a closer look revealed some fantastic selections: Untitled, Tongue, Sidewinder, Suspicion, Khoutek, I Believe, and Lighnin motherfuckin’ Hopkins, which is my jam. Some very choice, deep cuts there. Overall, though, he couldn’t quite edge out Phil’s heavy hitters and my vote goes to Phil.

ALL of you fuckers took songs I was shortlisting! Try not to have such good taste next time.

Can't believe Low Desert didn't get drafted.

Chud: A couple lower points for me (Zither, Fireplace, There She Goes Again) but there are some pretty amazing highs. The start, obviously, is great, and I love the Saturn Returns-Mine Smell Like Honey run in the second half. Also, I think Belong is really, really underrated.

Stip: Your first 3-4 picks are amazing, along with a few later ones like Leave, Life and How to Live It, Houston, Star 69... I've never been a fan of Chorus and the Ring or Parakeet, but it's a pretty well-rounded team.

I don't want to have to pick one of these... but I think Stip by a hair.
